OnePlus started rolling out a stable update of OxygenOS 14 for the Oneplus 11R and Oneplus 10T. Just a few days ago, the OnePlus 11 got the stable OxygenOS 14 update in other regions, now followed by these two devices. File Dock Feature
A new addition in OxygenOS 14 is the File Dock. This feature enhances productivity by allowing you to save images and text for later use. It also supports cross-device usage so if you have any other Oneplus smartphone running OxygenOS 14 you can easily access those files on your other device using the Files dock. Your data will always be synced if you use the same account on both phones. We can at any time use File Dock from the Smartside bar & use the file from File Dock to share across different applications.
Recent Files
Along with Files Dock, there is another new addon in the smart sidebar called Recent Files, which provides quick access to recent images and documents, saving a lot of time navigating recently used or downloaded files.
Gallery App Enhancements
A new feature has been added in the gallery app called the Gallery markup tool, which corrects your drawing to form perfect shapes like circles. We tried making Arrow, but that doesn’t seem to work right now. Additionally, your Google Photos app will sync with the gallery, showing all your Google photos in the Oneplus Gallery App.
Smart Cutout
Oneplus Gallery also adds a new feature called Smart Cutout, which automatically extracts the subject from a photo. You just have to touch and hold the subject of the photo and separate it from the background to copy, save, and share.
Dynamic Island-like Feature
A feature similar to dynamic island shows requires information at a glance. For instance, if you start a timer in the clock app and close it, a dynamic pill will appear in the status bar. Right now, it works with the clock application, Zomato, screen recording, and portable hotspot.
Extract Content
With OxygenOS 14, OnePlus also adds a feature called Extract Content. This works when you take a screenshot. Soon after you take a screenshot, a pop-up will appear giving a new option to extract content. Here, AI gets into action and lets you extract images and text. Right now, it supports only two languages: English and Chinese.
Specific App Refresh Rate
This feature was the most-awaited feature among Oneplus fans. Finally, the OnePlus did add that in the stable Oxygen OS 14 update. This feature lets you set a custom refresh rate for any application present on your phone. You get the option to choose from a 60Hz, 90Hz, or 120Hz refresh rate.
Link to Windows
OnePlus also added a new feature under Connection & Sharing. If you go to the Connection & Sharing page, you will see the option of Link to Windows, which requires a Microsoft account. Once enabled, you can seamlessly access your mobile device notifications, calls, photos, and more on your PC.
Sounds
The Sounds section now includes an Aquamorphic theme sound for notifications and a ringtone. The Aquamorphic theme has some great ringtones and notification tones that you must try once.
Wallpapers and Styles
In the Wallpapers and Styles section, we now get to see three new Always On Display styles on Oxygen OS 14, and these new Always On Display styles are known as carbon Footprint styles. Performance Enhancement
