The OnePlus company recently released a stable OxygenOS 14 update for the OnePlus 11. The update brings a new feature called Smart Cutout to its OnePlus Photos or Gallery app. This feature was mentioned in the changelog of previous OxgyenOS 14 beta updates but wasn’t present but finally, the company has added it now with a stable update of OxygenOS 14.
Smart Cutout Feature in OnePlus 11
The Smart Cutout feature is now added to the OnePlus Gallery app on OnePlus 11. It allows users to seamlessly extract a person or object from an image. It removes the background of the image. This is made possible through advanced AI technology integrated into the app. By simply long-pressing on a photo, the AI begins to analyze and extract the selected person or object from the image.
This feature is easy to use and also gives better results with its cutout image. The AI works in the background to make this work with better age detection of the person or the object.
Once the cutout is completed, we get the option to either send the cutout directly to someone or save it to their File Dock for later use.
