One UI 6 Beta 9 Delivers Better Performance Boost on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Compared to Previous Updates

Samsung seems to be working really hard to deliver stable One UI 6 based on Android 14 for supported Samsung smartphones. In total Samsung has already released nine One UI 6 Beta builds for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra till date and it seems this is the final beta build of One UI 6.

One UI 6 Beta 9 Benchmark Test on Galaxy S23 Ultra

We have been testing all the builds released by Samsung till now and One UI 6 Beta 9 seems to boost performance on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. We tried different apps to test the performance and the results look promising. The comparison is between One UI 6 Beta 8 with the latest beta which is One UI 6 Beta 9. We first started with the Geekbench application which is a benchmarking program that measures the performance of the device it uses a scoring system that separates single-core and multi-core performance. If you check the results in the below images, single-core scores are slightly lower but multi-core scores are a bit high on OneUI 6 Beta 9.

OneUI Beta 8 va Beta 9 benchmark

When we performed the CPU throttle test between OneUI 6 Beta 8 and OneUI 6 Beta 9, we did notice a bit of a throttling issue on Beta 8, where the maximum CPU throttled up to 73% whereas on the latest build the maximum CPU throttled up to 70%. It’s not a huge difference though.

At last, we also performed the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme stress test which is also a benchmark test that measures how the device performs under long periods of heavy load and the results were shocking. You can see a huge difference in the loop scores compared with OneUI 6 beta 8 and the stability score is slightly bumped from 63.6% to 64.4%.

OneUI Beta 9 3DMark Wild Life Extreme stress test

In the same 3DMark Wild Life Extreme stress test if you guys see the below performance monitoring graph, both of the builds OneUI 6 Beta 8 and OneUI 6 Beta 9 drained the same battery percentage in the testing which is 11% but the temperature was slightly on the higher side on Beta 8. If you see the frame rate on OneUI 6 Beta 8 which ranges between 11 FPS to 28 FPS though on OneUI 6 Beta 9 the FPS range is between 34 FPS to 99 FPS which is a huge bump.

So in our entire testing between One UI 6 Beta 8 and One UI 6 Beta 9, we saw a huge performance boost. We also assumed this would be the final beta build of OneUI 6 but we still don’t have any official info about stable One UI 6 also what are your thought after seeing the above test do let us know below.
