One UI 6 Beta 9 Hits Samsung Galaxy S23 Series, Stable Release is Near

Samsung unexpectedly released the One UI 6 beta 9 for the Galaxy S23 series. This release came shortly after a Samsung Members community moderator announced that no further One UI 6 beta updates were planned unless critical bugs needed fixing before the stable version launch. Evidently, such issues were present and this led to the release of the new beta update.

The latest beta version of One UI 6 based on Android 14 is currently available to Galaxy S23 users in India, United States, United Kingdom, and Germany. The company plans to extend this update to additional countries including Poland, and Korea soon.

In the US, the One UI 6 beta 9 can be identified by the firmware version ending in ZWJM which is approximately 420 MB in size. This update includes the October 2023 Android security patch. The changelog shows the bug fixes and improvements in the software’s overall stability.

Originally, the stable version of One UI 6 was scheduled for release next week, as the beta program was nearing its conclusion.

However, the release of this ninth beta build indicates little bit of delay. Galaxy S23 users who are not part of the beta program might now face a longer wait to experience One UI 6 on their devices.
