Nothing Phone (2a) spotted on TDRA Certification

Recently, Nothing Phone (2a), the expected upcoming smartphone from Nothing was spotted on the TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) certification which confirms its launch in early 2024.

The information was shared through a tweet by Mukul Sharma which shows that it’s the Nothing Phone (2a) with the Model number A142 listed under the brand NOTHING TECHNOLOGY LIMITED on the TDRA certification.

The TDRA certification also shows the issue date as January 2, 2024 and the expiration date as January 1, 2027. It also certifies the product type as a mobile phone. The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) is a statutory body that regulates the telecommunications sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It ensures the availability of telecom services in the UAE and makes sure that licensed operators follow the rules and regulations.

Nothing Phone (2a) getting certified on TDRA confirms that it will be also launched in the UAE likewise the Phone (2). Recently Carl Pei also shared a tweet which hints aerodactyl a Pokémon as the easter egg for a new nothing Phone which is expected to be the Phone (2a).This might be the first official hint to the upcoming Phone (2a) which is expected to be released in MWC 2024.

Nothing Phone (2a) Leaked Design

We have already got all the leaks about the specifications and design of the Phone (2a) along with its official wallpapers. The Phone (2a) is expected to be launched at $450 with a wider availability than the Phone (2).  The phone is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1084 x 2412 pixels, powered by a Dimensity 7200 SoC. In terms of photography, it’s expected to sport a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide camera, and 32 MP selfie camera. With all the buzz and hype around the Phone (2a) we might soon get an official teaser for nothing regarding the Phone (2a).
