Everyone is already talking about Nothing’s upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a). Rumors suggest this new device will be officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona later in February 2024. Already, there’s a lot of excitement about what this phone has to offer.

Today’s leak brings new details to the forefront – the price. According to Roland Quandt, a source known for reliable information, the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to start under €400 (roughly Rs 36,813) in the European Union. The phone is said to be available in two classic colors: white and black.

Regarding specifications, the base model of the Nothing Phone (2a) is rumored to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also talk of a higher-end variant featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, though its price remains unknown for now. If we consider the pricing of the Nothing Phone (2), which was launched at $599 in the US and €649 in the EU, the Nothing Phone (2a) might be priced around $349 in the US in the best case, but more likely at about $399.

These price points position the Nothing Phone (2a) as a potentially attractive option in the mid-range market. The phone is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1084 x 2412 pixels, powered by a Dimensity 7200 SoC. In terms of photography, it’s expected to sport a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide camera, and 32 MP selfie camera.
