Recently, Nothing has started rolling out 2nd update for its newly launched Nothing Phone (2a). If we talk about the changelogs, then the changelogs of this update are listed below:
This update is based on NothingOS 2.5.3, Android 14. The new update brings 10 new ringtones which are specifically for Nothing Phone (2a). Nothing has also added a recorder widget which can be added on the Home and Lock Screen of the Phone (2a). Moreover, Nothing has also added 3 different levels of Haptic feedback i.e. Low, Medium, and High. Additionally, the newly launched Nothing Phone (2a) lets you create unique AI wallpapers with the help of Wallpaper Studio.
The background management of Phone (2a) is also improved. Nothing has also been added to the Shortcut Widget for the Camera app which can be easily added from the Widgets. This camera widget is very useful, firstly, you have to customize the Mode by tapping on the edit icon of the Camera Widget such as Photo, Video, Portrait, Time-Lapse, Pano, Expert, Slo-Mo. Along with this, you can also choose the lens such as Front camera or Rear Camera (wide and ultra-wide).
There is also an option to choose an equivalent focal length in the advanced settings of the widget. If we talk about some more options that are available in the advanced settings, then you can also enable or disable HDR, Change the Resolution and frame rate of the video, Action Mode, Flash, etc. Later on, Nothing has also improved the opening speed of the Camera app.
This update also fixed the pedometer widget, which would reset after switching the time zones. Moreover, this update also fixed the issue in which WhatsApp crashes in certain conditions. The impressive of Nothing Phone (2a) is also impressive which is 6 hrs and 29 minutes. This SOT (Screen On Time) we get in the second cycle without any heavy tasking.
