Oppo is set to unveil the non-Pro A3 in China on July 2 at 14:30 local time (2:30 pm IST). The company launched the A3 Pro in China in April and a different phone with the same name in India last week. Today, Oppo company teased the upcoming A3 on Weibo.
The shared images reveal a design similar to the Chinese Oppo A3 Pro but with a flat screen instead of a curved one. The A3 will be available in three colors: Mountain Stream Green, Aurora Purple, and Quiet Sea Black.
The Oppo A3 will be 7.15mm thin and “ultra durable” with a slightly curved frame for better in-hand feel. While Oppo hasn’t revealed any specifications yet, the A3 was recently listed in China Telecom’s product library.
The A3 will feature a 6.7-inch 1080×2412 touchscreen, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP decorative sensor, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It will be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 695, which are almost similar.
The phone will come in three RAM/storage combinations: 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB. The starting price is expected to be CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs 24,100).
