OnePlus 12R new update brings February Security Patch, Camera 2X Portrait, and Performance Boost

OnePlus, a Chinese Smartphone Tech Giant has recently rolled out a new software update for OnePlus 12R. As we know, the phone comes with the December Security Patch but this update brings the February Security Patch. This update is based on OxygenOS 14. If we talk about the build number, then the build number of the update is CPH2585_14.0.0.500 (EX01). The size of this update is 1.23 GB.

How to Install this Update?

If you have not received this update, then you can manually update your OnePlus 12R using local update. So, to locally update your phone you have to download the file which is given below:

How to do a Local Update?

To do a Local Update, first, you have to  Open Settings ->About Device ->Click on the Blue Coloured OxygenOS Version Box. Then, you have to tap on the three dots present on the top right. There you see three options. Among those three, you have to click on Local Update. After that choose the Update Package that you have downloaded.

Note: If you have not seen the local update option, then you just have to enable developer options by tapping build number 7 times or follow this video.
