There’s a very weird and annoying issue with the OxygenOS 14 UI. Sometimes, the UI randomly messes up with the status bar. Sometimes, the icons fail to appear properly and sometimes they appear weirdly. Since the home screen and status bar are the first things you see when you use your smartphone, encountering a bug in either of them can ruin the entire experience.
I have been using OxygenOS 14 on my OnePlus 9 Pro since its first Alpha release and I have noticed a consistent bug since that time. I reported the issue in the Alpha version, but it has persisted through three different updates and remains present in the current Beta version.
Users of the OnePlus 11 with OxygenOS 14 are still reporting that the issue persists in the UI. It is unclear why OnePlus is taking so long to address this seemingly simple issue. With a large workforce, one would expect the problem to be resolved swiftly. However, the company has yet to do so. OnePlus needs to prioritize the user experience and address these issues promptly.
