The Krafton company has now made the BGMI 2.9 update live, bringing a wave of excitement to the gaming community in India. As of December 1, following its post-8 am release, iPhone and iPad users can now access the latest version of the game directly from the App Store. Android users have also started receiving the update but some users are still not getting it.
You don’t need to worry about a new update for your Android device. Krafton has already started releasing this update for everyone, but it will take some time to reach out to every player.
The game developer has shared new features, improvements, and rewards on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India website. This update also brings India’s biggest superstar, “Ranveer Singh” to the game for more excitement.
What’s new in the BGMI 2.9 update?
- Permanent Rewards: Now, when you play games and finish missions in the Erangel map, you can get rewards that won’t go away. These rewards stay with you forever.
- Ice & Snow Festival: This is a special winter mode in the game. You’ll find a new place called Ice and Snow Town, a special Ice Gun, and fun winter things like a snowboard. It’s all about winter fun, with Christmas decorations, reindeer, and special presents.
- Ranveer Singh Discovery Event: Famous Indian actor Ranveer Singh is now part of BGMI. When you play the normal game mode, you can collect points. If you do well, you get special Ranveer Singh items like parachutes. If you collect 3000 points, you can get Ranveer Singh’s special voice and a picture of him for your game.
- X-Suit Carnival: This event brings back three X-suits that players liked before, and also adds a new, secret one. It’s a fancy event with lots of style.
- Royale Pass A3 – Freaky Fiesta: This new pass gives you different rewards you can’t get anywhere else. For example, you can get a unique crossbow called the Circus of Screams and a dance you can do when you win.
The Frozen Kingdom theme mode is only for Erangel, Vikendi, and Livik. Other maps, such as Miramar, Nusa, Sanhok, and Krakin, won’t have any theme mode features.
