Today, Nothing has finally released the stable version of the Nothing OS 2.5 update based on Android 14 for their flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). Nothing tweeted that Nothing OS 2.5 will be coming to Phone (2) over the next few days with new features and improvements.
Nothing Phone (2) had already received the open beta 2 update for Nothing OS 2.5 two weeks ago and the stable update was due with some rumors that it might be delayed to 2024 but it has been released today and will be available to all users in coming days starting today.
The update brings changes across the UI with lots of new features and improvements in customization, Glyph Interface, gestures, and Widgets. This update also brings three new widgets that were announced during the Q3 community update. The update size is 210 MB. To update, go to Settings > System > System Update.
Nothing has done a really good job by providing the stable version of update before the end of 2023 for all the users and also packed the update with lots of interesting features like Atmosphere wallpaper effect, screenshot editor and new pedometer and screen time widgets to enhance the software experience of Phone (2).
