Nothing company has just released a Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 2 update for Nothing Phone (2) users. They revealed this beta update in a recent video of the “Nothing Community Update | Q3 2023.” The new update obviously is based on Android 14 and it’s going to bring new features to the Glyph Interface and other improvements as well.
The Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 2 update size is 98.13 MB and it will only 5–10 minutes the install on your Phone (2).

In the second beta of the Nothing OS 2.5 update, you will get to see glyph progress integration with Google Calendar. Basically, it will allow the user to track the upcoming events through a visual countdown of five minutes on the Glyph interface.
Now with the Glyph Timer option, you will see noticeable improvement because it now supports time presets which will allow the users to set the timers for common durations. Now you can open the Glyph Timer from the Lock screen without unlocking the device.
Additionally, the company has added an option to open the Glyph timer popup window with a simple tap instead of holding on to it for the Quick settings widgets. Now NFC also has a Glyph animation whenever it’s in use.
The ‘Predictive Back’ gesture has been expanded to all Nothing apps, offering a smoother and more better navigation experience. The power button double-press gesture now comes with more options.
The three-finger swipe gesture is now improved for better reliability. As sometime it wasn’t working properly.
Apart from these changes and improvements, you will now revamped status bar icons along with minor UI improvements.
This update also takes care of the bugs that were reported earlier by beta users as they have mentioned General bug fixes in the changelog.
