Recently, we got to know about the host and dates of the MWC 2024 (Mobile World Congress), which is being hosted in Barcelona, Spain, between February 26 and 29 next year. It is an annual trade show organized by GSMA, dedicated primarily to the mobile communications industry. In this event, various mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, and other players in the mobile industry showcase their latest mobile devices, network infrastructure, software, and services.
Yesterday, we also got to know that Nothing is once again going to be part of the MWC. They have released a poster that states, “Nothing to see” with the timings of the event and Nothing representatives will be present there. The date is February 27, 2024, Tuesday, and the evening session.
Last year, Nothing and Carl Pei were present at the MWC 2023 in Vegas. Carl came up with an announcement regarding the much-awaited Nothing Phone (2). He announced that the Phone (2) will launch with a Snapdragon 8 series processor. He posed with a red-colored number 8 jersey with Phone (2) written on it with the president and CEO of Snapdragon, who shared the tweet congratulating him for partnering with Snapdragon for their smartphone.
With Nothing’s announcement there participation in the MWC, 2024 might hint that Carl could once again announce something new at the MWC. It might be the chipset to be used in their next flagship smartphone the Phone (3) or could be an announcement for the anticipated Nothing Phone (2a).
