After OnePlus started to roll out the OxygenOS 14 update, which comes with the November 2023 security patch, its users started to experience poor battery backup on almost every OnePlus smartphone. And it’s not only with OxygenOS 14 devices that are running OxygenOS 13.1 with the November Security patch that they are reporting bad screen on time or battery backup. Here is the guide using which you can downgrade your smartphone to previous versions of OxygenOS.
We updated our OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 11 to the latest stable OxygenOS 14 since the battery backup is not at all good. You can check out the screenshots of the battery graph. We generally get 3 – 4 Hrs of screen-on-time/Battery backup. Once, the Oneplus 11 was a battery champion that used to deliver around 7/8 hours of screen on time.

Steps to Downgrade OnePlus Smartphones
- Download the required files from the links given below.
- Once the files are downloaded, make sure they are not placed in any folder. The file should be in the root directory.
- Later, go to Settings > About Phone > Version > Tap on Version for seven times. You should see a pop-up saying that you are now a developer.
- After that, go to the About section > Tap on OxygenOS > Tap on three dots present in the right-top corner > Select Local Install > Select Downgrade file. Note: The downgrade process will delete all data from your device, so take a backup before proceeding.
