Before this, if you wanted to access a different account on WhatsApp, you had to log out from your current one. With this new update, switching between personal and work accounts is now easy.

How to Add Multiple Accounts on WhatsApp
- You need a second phone number. This could be from another SIM card or from a phone that uses multi-SIM or eSIM.
- Go to your WhatsApp settings.
- Tap the arrow next to your name.
- Choose “Add account”.
- Enter your second phone number. This lets you set up your second account.
Furthermore, you can set privacy and notifications differently for each account. Maybe you want to mute your personal account’s notifications but keep the work one active and same goes for the personal active and work goes mute. WhatsApp is also makes sure that messages in both accounts are still private thanks to end-to-end encryption.
