Recently, Google has added a Podcast tab to the YouTube Channel and now, Google is going to shut down Google Podcasts by next year i.e. 2024. According to the Company, they are going to make Podcasts on YouTube Music available globally by the end of 2023.
In a recent post, YouTube announced that “As part of this process, we’ll be assisting Google Podcasts users in transitioning to Podcasts in YouTube Music”. The Company is also planning to transfer all the required tools in YouTube Music from Google Podcasts in the upcoming weeks.
If we talk about why Google Podcasts is adding to YouTube Music. This enhancement aims to deliver podcasts to YouTube Music listeners across different platforms. For now, users will easily access all three platforms i.e. YouTube, YouTube Music, and Google Podcasts.
