Google is going to launch its Google Pixel 8 Series on 4 October 2023 in the Made by Google Event. In August, according to some rumors, Google’s upcoming flagship series i.e. Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro will get more years of Android Updates.
According to a specification sheet shared by 91 Mobiles, Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro will get 7 years of software support. If we talk about the pricing of the Google Pixel 8 Series. So, Google Pixel 8 will come with $699 which is $100 more if we compare it with Google Pixel 7. Later on, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is reported to come at $899 which is similar to the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro come with Google’s all-new Tensor G3 Chip.
According to a specification sheet provided by 91 mobiles, Google Pixel 8 Series i.e. Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro will get a minimum of 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security updates. Till now it is not clear whether Google will provide 7 years of Software Support for the Google Pixel 8 Series but if it comes then it can be a good upgrade.
