Nothing Phone (2) has recently received beta for Android 14 which is Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1. Still, we cannot get the 90 FPS option on BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) which is the most popular game in India. Many users are waiting for 90 FPS gameplay on their Phone (2). Now let’s dive in for more details about it.
Krafton who is now a developer for the BGMI game in India has recently released the BGMI 2.8 update. Along with this company keeps releasing in-game updates which bring patches to the game if there is any problem.
A few days back on my OnePlus 11, I didn’t need to do any settings from the game mode to achieve 90 FPS gameplay. I have discussed this in a dedicated post for it. This means that Krafton has released a small patch to give 90 FPS for many Android smartphones.
Now talking about Nothing Phone (2), I still don’t find any option of 90 FPS in Graphics and audio settings. I just see the maximum option called Extreme which is limited to 60 FPS on my Phone (2). Other games like COD Mobile and New State Mobile have a 90 FPS option which works perfectly without any problem.
When will the 90 FPS option be available on the Nothing Phone (2) for BGMI?
I think it’s on Krafton developers to add the Phone (2) to their list that it supports 90 FPS because it has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. With a similar processor many devices such as the OnePlus 11R have the 90 FPS option and it’s working fine with it.
