Samsung upcoming Galaxy S24 series sees an addition to its list of battery suppliers. Previously, the tech giant had collaborated with three suppliers for its Galaxy S24 lineup, especially focusing on the Galaxy S24+. These included Samsung SDI Vietnam, Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, and ELENTEC India. The latest company to join this list is Navitasys India.
This information comes from Safety Korea, a Korean certifying agency. They have confirmed that Navitasys India is set to supply Samsung with batteries. The specific model code for these batteries is EB-BS928ABY. Notably, this model code corresponds to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

A lingering question is whether Samsung’s partnership with Indian battery suppliers like Navitasys and ELENTEC is solely for their production needs in India. As a point of interest, Samsung’s factory in India is currently the world’s largest operational mobile phone manufacturing unit. It will be interesting to see if these batteries are for local assembly only or if they will be supplied to other countries.
The Galaxy S24 series, expected to be a major launch, is speculated to be unveiled in January 2024. With a couple of months to go, we are certain to receive more insights about this series soon.
