OPPO Pad Air 2 might launch very soon alongside the Reno 11 series

OPPO is preparing to release the successor to the current OPPO Pad Air on the market. The device functioned excellently for a budget tablet, and it is now time for its successor, the OPPO Pad Air 2 to carry on the tablet’s legacy. The device has long been the subject of leaks and rumors, and now a new piece of information making the rounds on the internet suggests that the device will be released very soon in the Chinese market.

OPPO Pad Air 2 might launch in China on November 23

The previous reports for the OPPO Pad Air 2 getting launched with the Find N3 Flip came out to be false. And now, new speculations are forming claiming that the device will now launch alongside the Reno 11 series of smartphones in China on November 23. Given that this is just part of a rumor and not an official confirmation, I suggest you take this info with a pinch of salt.

But that’s not all – another source claims that the launch of the Reno 11 series has been delayed until early December for miscellaneous reasons. If the previous reports of the Pad Air 2 launching alongside the 11 series are accurate, we shouldn’t expect to see the gadget on November 23rd.

OPPO Pad Air 2 Rumored specifications

As mentioned earlier, the device is going to target a budget audience. But if we can recall, OnePlus also launched its OnePlus Pad Go, a budget-oriented tablet in India a few weeks back. The leaks claim that it is eventually the same tablet but with a different branding and marketing name which is going to launch in China.

Well, this news of rebranding shouldn’t come to us as a surprise. Since the software departments of OPPO and OnePlus merged, the gap between both brands gradually narrowed over time.

As for the specs, we expect the device to have an 11.35-inch display with a 2.8K pixel resolution and 90Hz high refresh rate. Under the hood, it would be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The device would be offered with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

It would have an 8000mAh battery paired with up to 33W of fast-wired charging. For photography and videography, it would have the same 8-megapixel camera on both front and back. The device would boot up on Android 13-based ColorOS optimized for the tablet.
