OnePlus finally launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12 after the company’s 10th anniversary. The smartphone debuts in China, following the tradition set by its predecessors, the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 10 Pro. This new smartphone is going to stand out against top smartphones out there in the market with its latest specs and features.
OnePlus 12 Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 12 aims to correct some mistakes from previous models. Notable enhancements include the return of wireless charging and a faster USB port. The phone also boasts an upgraded camera system.
Maintaining the similar design of the OnePlus 11, the OnePlus 12 still has slight changes in its design. It features a glass sandwich construction with a metal frame and is IP65-rated for splash resistance.
At its core, the OnePlus 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, combined with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It also includes a large 9140mm² Vapor Chamber (VC) cooling system.
The device showcases a 6.82-inch curved OLED display from BOE. This display offers QHD+ resolution, 510 PPI, and variable 1-120Hz refresh rate (LTPO). The 10-bit screen supports up to 4500 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The camera setup is similar to the OnePlus Open (Oppo Find N3). It features a 48MP primary sensor, a 64MP sensor with a 3x periscope zoom lens, and a 48MP ultrawide unit. A 32MP front camera provides high-quality selfies. All cameras are enhanced with Hasselblad-inspired image processing.
The phone supports dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, NFC, and USB 3.2. Additional features include an alert slider, an IR blaster, and dual stereo speakers. The OnePlus 12 runs on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 in China.
A 5,400mAh battery powers the device, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Available in Rock Black, Pale Green, or White, the OnePlus 12 is priced as follows in China:
- 12GB+256GB: ¥4,299 (~₹50,600)
- 16GB+512GB: ¥4,799 (~₹56,500)
- 16GB+1TB: ¥5,299 (~₹62,400)
- 24GB+1TB: ¥5,799 (~₹68,300)
The Indian pricing for the OnePlus 12 will be different from the above-mentioned prices. As we already know, the global launch is happening on January 23, 2024.
