With the integration of the February 2024 Android security patch, OnePlus 11R users will get an enhanced level of system security. This update is crucial for protecting the device against the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

A notable feature of this update is the upgrade to the high-frequency PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) dimming technology. The new One-pulse EM mode, available in the Developer options, employs one-pulse anti-flicker modulation for high screen brightness levels, while still utilizing high-frequency PWM dimming for lower brightness levels. This will help to reduce eye strain and improve the visual experience under various lighting conditions.

Users can expect a smoother and more stable performance from their OnePlus 11R following the update. The improvements in system stability and performance are designed to ensure a seamless user experience across all functions and apps.

Changelog:

  • Integrates the February 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.
  • High-frequency PWM dimming has been upgraded to One-pulse EM mode in Developer options. When this mode is enabled, one-pulse anti-flicker modulation will be used for high screen brightness and high-frequency PWM dimming will be used for low screen brightness.
  • Improves system stability and performance.
