The much-awaited update Nothing OS 2.0.2 is now available to install for Nothing Phone 2. The update comes with important improvements and enhancements. It does camera optimization and system stability, and it also brings the July 2023 Android security patch. With these things, it added new features and made changes to the device.
The camera improvement is the main part of this update. The photo quality in low-light settings now gives sharper images and better details. Moreover, the 50 MP mode is even better, with better dynamic range and clarity.
Apart from this, Ultra-wide photos still need improvement, but the front camera and video recording are now better than before. The video is now more stabilized, the contrast is on point, and the bokeh effects in portrait mode got better, which basically provides a more natural and vibrant feel.

This update brings a notable change in the visual for out-of-battery when your phone is out of juice and gets automatically switched off. Now volume control displays different icons for various Nothing Audio products, which is a minor change.
Integrating the July 2023 security patch into this update will improve your phone’s security and protect you from the latest risks. Automatic shutdown of apps when the device heats up then the feature will provide safety for the device.
