The Nothing Company might be working on its own Gallery app. Nothing CEO Carl Pei posted about this on X (previously Twitter) where he asked, “If we were to develop our own Gallery app, what would be the most important thing to get right?” This has made us think that Nothing is planning to launch its own Gallery app.
Right now, Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) users use Google Photos to see their pictures. But we think this going to be changed very soon as a new topic has been created amongst Nothing users. We talked about a user poll in an earlier report on another website. This poll had options like Nothing Gallery, Calculator, Dialer, and Clock. Most people chose Nothing Gallery.
Bruno Viegas from Nothing, who leads software product design replied to this poll. He said, “There you go.” This reply makes us think that the company might be working on the Gallery app.
Many users of Nothing Phone don’t like using Google Photos. They want something different. With Carl Pei asking about a Gallery App, it seems like Nothing might give its users what they want.
