Nothing Chats App Integrates iMessage with Nothing Phone (2)

The Nothing company is bringing big change for Android users with their new app “Nothing Chats” which will support iMessage on the Nothing Phone (2). This is the first app developed by a smartphone brand, as previously we have seen other iMessage apps for Android that were made by different companies.

Nothing Chats for Phone (2)

Nothing Chats User Interface

The Nothing Chats app is made in collaboration with Sunbird. It lets you send messages using blue bubbles. The app is still being tested, which means it is in the beta phase. The application interface is somewhat similar to iMessage on an iPhone.

Nothing is the first mobile company to offer a solution to one of the biggest frustrations between Android and iOS users. Nothing Chats, powered by Sunbird, allows you to directly message other phone users from your Nothing phone via blue bubbles. Only available for Phone (2) users in the US, Canada, UK, and EU at this time.

The Nothing Chats app is safe and secure. It keeps your messages private, just like “Sunbird: iMessage for Android.” The company also says that to make the app work with iMessage, you will need to log in with your Apple ID and the chats will be done with end-to-end encryption.

Nothing Chats Features List

Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing made a video about the Nothing Chats app introduction. He says the app will let you chat with one person or a group. You can also share pictures and voice notes. But some features like knowing if someone reads your message, message reactions, and message replies will come later.

The Nothing Chats is not just for iMessage. It will work with RCS messages on the Phone (2). People in the US, UK, and EU can use it for now. It will be out on November 17. It’s not clear if Phone (1) users can get it or if it will be part of the phone’s system later. For now, you can download it from the Play Store.

As of now, we don’t have other details for the Indian region about when this app will be made available here.
