Yesterday, Nothing company released the first closed beta of Nothing OS 2.5 for Nothing Phone (1). The OTA has been pushed for the 40 community users who got selected in the closed beta program for the Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5.
Nothing OS 2.5.1 Closed Beta Update
We initially got screenshots of the changelog of the Nothing OS 2.5.1 closed beta update for Nothing Phone (1), and now we have managed to get the file as well. Those screenshots and file have been leaked by some closed beta testers.
This build has not been officially released to the public, as the word suggests. Yet another closed beta update will be coming, and then we can expect an open beta update for Phone (1).
So for installation, we have the proper guide you need to follow.
- Download & Install Nothing OS Beta Tool APK – Download
- Download the Nothing OS 2.5.1 zip file from given link below.
- Once the Zip file is downloaded, go to File Manager, create a folder named (ota), and place the Zip File in the OTA folder.
- Now go to Setting – System, here you should see an option (Update to Beta version) Tap on it and select Import File. Now navigate to the OTA folder and select the zip file.
- The installation process will start and will take around 5 – 10 minutes to complete once down Restart the Phone and Enjoy Nothing OS 2.5.1 on Nothing Phone (1)

We recommend you not install this file on your stable build, as Nothing will soon be releasing an open beta update at the end of December or starting next year.
