Krafton is set to release the next update of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in India very soon. As of now, the current theme mode Zombie Edge has been removed from the BGMI 2.8 version. Now the game developer will try their best to release the next theme mode, called Frozen Kingdom.
The current update had many issues, such as lag, frame drops, and voice glitches. Even iPhones were lagging in this update, and many players got frustrated due to this.
BGMI 2.9 Update Release Date
The PUBG Mobile 2.9 update was released on November 9. According to some BGMI content creators, the BGMI 2.9 update is expected to release on November 28. A notable BGMI content creator on YouTube has confirmed the release date in his recent videos.
Still, there is no confirmation from Krafton yet, but the new update is always released whenever the theme mode is removed from the current update.
But recently, Krafton has posted some Instagram reels about the BGMI 2.9 update, where they are going to do a podcast for the upcoming update. Basically, they will explain what’s new in the update such as new guns, modes, features, and more.
In the above Instagram reel, you can see it saying at the end, “2.9 UPDATE IS COMING.” So this confirms the update.
The new BGMI 2.9 update is going to bring a lot of new in-game features such as a Snow blast zone, snowball blaster, and snowboard. It is going to have ‘Search for Snow Toddlers’ for exciting challenges.
The update will bring snow bombs in red zones and the players into snowmen. Reindeer and snowboards will be available for players to use to travel around the map.
Furthermore, the 2.9 update will also improve the reporting system, improve the firearms, and vehicle along with optimizing the game.
