The Krafton company always starts working on new updates after releasing the current update. Now they must be working on the BGMI 2.9 update. The new update means a new event which is coming for sure. This event will be called “Frozen Kingdom” in the BGMI 2.9 update. As the name suggests, it’s going to be a Frost festival as Christmas is near and winter has already started, so the developer has made this event for the gamers.
However, this update is going to soon be released on another version of BGMI which is PUBG Mobile. A month later, Krafton will also release this update for Indian gamers.
BGMI 2.9 Update New Features and Frozen Kingdom Themed Mode
- Mini Point of Interest (POI): There will be four POV locations. The main POV will be in Stalber.
- Snowball Blaster: A new gun is very useful if used technically. If aimed at the enemy’s body he will turn into a snowman for a few seconds and will not be able to do anything but just move so you can easily knock him.
- Snow Zone: In place of Redzone we will get to see snow bombs. If it falls upon you, you’ll become a snowman.
- Christmas Tree Loot: In the event area, we’ll be getting a Christmas tree. We can get average loot from the gifts that are hanged over the tree, and there’s also a special gift box from where we can get a Snowball Blaster Gun.
- Bell Tower: Bell Tower is a location where Santa Claus comes in his reindeer to drop an airdrop.
- Special Vehicle Reindeer: In this event, we will be riding the Santa Claus ride- Reindeer. We can go from one place to another very easily.
- Reindeer Sleigh: We will have to find the sleigh, it will randomly spawn on the map. We’ll have to join the reindeer with the sleigh, and as soon as we’ve joined, we can fly with one teammate.
- Custom Garage: It’s a garage where we can spawn our own choice of vehicle. The options available are UAZ, DACIA, COUPE RB, and MIRADO. We can spawn only once in a single garage.
- Auto Firing in DMR: For now, we can use M16A4 and MK47 in auto mod using an attachment known as ‘Full-Auto mod’ but after the BGMI 2.9 update, we will be able to use this attachment in all the other DMR- Mini14, SKS, SLR, QBZ.
- Default Melee Weapon Control: After the BGMI 2.9 update, we’ll get an option in the settings for which melee weapon we would like to have after landing or after respawning. There will be two options machete or dagger. This is how you can change it by going to Settings> Controls> Advanced Controls > Default Melee Weapon Carried.
