Threads, a competitor of X (formally Twitter) has started rolling out the most requested feature i.e. Edit Button. As we know in X (Twitter), we have to purchase Twitter Blue, and with that we can edit our tweet.
But, Mark Zuckerberg CEO of Meta announced yesterday that they are going to add an edit button for all Threads users. From which users can simply edit their thread after they post it. As we know on Twitter, we can edit the tweet with Twitter Blue within 60 minutes of posting it.
But the Threads provides the same functionality for free, from which you can easily edit the edit thread within 5 minutes, after posting it. This will work on mobile as well as the web. After you edit the thread, you will see an edit timing after you click on the three dots in the top right corner, as shown in the image below:
Along with this, Meta has also rolled out a new feature called “Voice Threads”. With this new “Voice Threads”, users can attach an audio clip to the post. This “Voice Threads” functionality doesn’t appear to be available widely for now. A user with the username @tomwarrenuk has posted a voice note on his Threads account.
