Samsung to Launch Galaxy M15 5G and M55 5G in India on April 8

The teaser campaign for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G in India, which commenced last week, has now confirmed a launch date of April 8. These devices were first introduced in other regions in early March.

The launch time is scheduled to take place at 12 pm local time. The Galaxy M15 won’t be alone, it will be accompanied by the Galaxy M55 5G. The Galaxy M55 5G went official in Brazil at the end of March. The devices will be available for purchase through Amazon India as all the teasers have been posted there.

The Samsung Galaxy M15 features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2340 resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. Available in three memory variants—4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM—with storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The device boasts a triple camera array on the back, including a 50 MP primary camera, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera, plus a 13 MP front camera for selfies. It is equipped with a large 6,000 mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, boasting a brightness of 1,000 nits. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and comes with 8GB RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. For photography, it offers a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera, alongside a 50 MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.
