Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Updated with December 2023 Security Patch in US

Samsung is rolling out a new update along with a December 2023 security patch for their Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in the US. Currently, the update is only for the locked models of S23 FE on the Verizon network carrier, whereas for the other carriers, it will be available in a few days or weeks.

The update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE comes with One UI build version S711USQU1BWK6 in the US. The rollout may take some time to reach your device.

The update fixes more than 60 security issues, which are related to buffer overflow, KnoxCustom Service, Knox Guard, SmartManager, AR Emoji, bootloader, and Contacts.

For now, the security patch is for limited Samsung Galaxy S23 FE models, but soon the Korean tech giant will expand this patch to other models too. Users can update their Galaxy S23 FE by going to Settings > Software Update > Tap on Download and Install.
