Samsung Galaxy AI Features Update Coming to Older Models

Yesterday, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series, featuring the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. These models are a tech enthusiast’s dream, packed with advanced AI features under the banner of ‘Galaxy AI’. Unique to this series, they operate on Android 14, topped with the One UI 6.1 interface, a step ahead of other Samsung devices currently on One UI 6.

For those holding onto older Samsung models, there’s exciting news. Samsung has confirmed that a selection of their AI features will be rolled out to several older devices. This initiative will renew models like the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. These devices are confirmed to receive their AI updates in the first half of the year.

The update, presumably to One UI 6.1, is expected by the end of June. It promises to bring a host of AI features first seen in the S24 series to these older models. However, it’s important to note that while many features will be included, not all from the S24 will make it to these models. The specific features to be included are still under wraps, but rest assured, we will keep you updated as more information emerges.
