OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 14.0.0.810 update for OnePlus 12 users in India. This update brings changes to touch control, new animations, gaming, and system improvements. It also integrates the June 2024 security patch with this update.
This update can be identified by its firmware version CPH2573_14.0.0.810(EX01) and its size is 1.06 GB. But we found in the internal checking the update to be OxygenOS 14.1. Somehow company hasn’t changed the information in the About section of the device.
This latest update brings several improvements to touch control responsiveness. Users will notice that app icons on the home screen now react more quickly to taps. There are also enhancements to the animations for opening and closing apps, including a new transition animation when pulling down Quick Settings and optimized animations for dragging app icons on the Home screen.
In addition to touch control improvements, the update introduces several animation upgrades. It adds Gaussian blur effects when opening and closing app icons and new transition animations for Home screen widgets and clock widgets when the screen is turned off. These changes aim to provide a smoother and more visually appealing user interface.
For gamers, the update promises improved stability and fixes a previous issue where the screen might turn black while playing games.
The system itself receives important updates as well. Users can now choose to hide the track when drawing the lock screen pattern. There’s also an update to the music controls which can now be displayed in Fluid Cloud, and a fix for the concurrent appearance of the volume slider in Quick Settings and the one triggered by the physical volume button. Additionally, the update integrates the June 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.
