Out of the blue, a leak has come for a new Nothing Phone (not the phone (3), the actual successor to the Phone (2)), but now Nothing Phone (2a) is rumored to be under development.
The leaked image showcases details like the model number A1N142 and the model name Phone (2a) which is registered under the brand Nothing Technology Limited.
More leaked images also show that the smartphone is going to have a transparent back panel with a similar Glyph design as the Nothing Phone (1). The Phone (2a) is expected to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a center punch-hole camera in the front.
We can also expect the phone to come with a better SoC, better display brightness, and a similar camera setup to Phone (1) which is a 50 MP dual camera with OIS. The Phone (2a) could be priced between $399- $449 (Rs 30,000- 37,000), considering the upgrade in SoC and display size.
Currently, there is no leak regarding the launch time of the phone, and it might launch at the end of Q1 2024. Nothing has gone for a lite version of Phone (2) to fill the price segment between Phone (1) and Phone (2) to attract more customers to buy a Nothing smartphone and increase its market share.
