The OnePlus company has released OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus Pad users in India. Last month, the Pad got its first Open Beta but now this update brings more optimizations and improvements.
The OnePlus Pad users can identify this update by its firmware version OPD2203_14.0.0.82(EX01) and its size of 847.23 MB. You should also note that this update is based on Android 14 so some apps may not work.
OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus Pad
- System Changes:
- The update integrates the October 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security.
- There are improvements to system stability and performance.
- Battery life has been extended in certain scenarios.
- Fixes have been made for issues causing third-party apps to crash, screen flickering in some apps, and display issues with widgets in Dark mode.
- App Improvements:
- Weather animations such as thunderstorms have been improved.
- A problem where the keyboard might not open in some cases has been fixed.
How to Apply for OxygenOS 14 Open Beta for OnePlus Pad
Users can apply from November 21 until a certain number of applications is reached. The application process involves confirming the tablet’s current version and applying through the device settings, and then the company will review the application in a few days. If you get selected in the OBT program you will receive the OxygenOS 14 beta update in three days.
