Realme is gearing up to launch its new flagship device, the Realme GT 5 Pro. The company has started teasing the smartphone on its social media platforms. The device will first be launched in China, with a potential overseas launch to follow. It was previously announced that the device would feature an improved cooling system, and now it has been teased that it will also have enhanced optical zoom capabilities.
Realme GT 5 Pro will have a dedicated telephoto lens
Realme has now uploaded a new teaser to their Weibo account. The teaser confirms that GT 5 Pro will have a dedicated periscope telephoto camera with a Sony IMX890 camera lens. Not only this, the lens will support both Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). It would support up to 2.7X optical zoom and up to 120X optical zoom.
The presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has also been confirmed. The device is surely going to be a beast whether in terms of performance or cameras. We can easily call it the most powerful Realme smartphone to date.
With its advanced cooling system, which includes a generous 10,000mm2 heat dissipation unit, the upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro is shaping up to be quite the powerhouse. On the display front, it will have a stunning 3,000 nits brightness and a beautifully curved 6.78-inch 1.5K screen crafted by BOE. When it comes to charging, it has a whopping 240W fast charging capability.
