OPPO has started rolling out the ColorOS 13.1 update for its OPPO A98 5G Users in India. This update includes the August Security Patch Update.
If we talk about this update. So, this is an incremental update for the users of the OPPO A98 5G. The update is identified as CPH2529_13.1.0.584 (EX01) and has a size of 723.85 MB. The changelog of the update is listed below:
System
- Integrates the August 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security.
- Improves system stability and performance.
Camera
- Improves camera performance for a better user experience
The update also includes system stability and security. Rather than August Security Patch and system stability and performance. Along with these changes, with this update, the camera performance has also improved to provide a better user experience. But don’t expect UI changes as the update size is only 723.25 MB.
How to Update?
To install this update on your OPPO A98 5G in India, follow these simple steps:
- When you receive the CPH2529_13.1.0.584 (EX01) update notification, tap on it to download the new software.
- Once the download is complete, tap on “Install Now” to begin the installation process.
- Your device will now restart and begin installing the update. During this process, your device may restart multiple times.
- Once the installation process is complete, your device will restart again, and the new software will be ready to use.
Note: You have to make sure that your device is sufficiently charged i.e. 50% and storage before installing the update.
