The update brings several new smooth animations that improve the visual experience of the OnePlus Nord CE 4. Users will notice seamless transformations of icons and their rounded corners during app launch and exit. Additionally, a bounce animation effect has been added when sliding to the bottom of the notification drawer.

The layer effects of Quick Setting icons and widgets have been optimized, providing a more natural and delicate visual effect. Transition animations for Home screen icons and widgets have been enhanced, and wallpaper zoom animations upon device unlock have been introduced. Gradual brightness transitions when the screen is turned on or off, improved background colors, and Gaussian blur effects in the Home screen drawer are also part of this update. Furthermore, transition animations for the Lock screen clock and buttons, as well as animations when entering and exiting Global Search, have been optimized for a smoother and more consistent visual experience.

The new touch control experience is another highlight of this update. The update also increases touch responsiveness for various app usage scenarios, such as opening and closing apps, entering and exiting recent tasks, and swiping on the gesture guide bar to switch between apps. Animations when using large folders have been optimized, ensuring smoother dragging of apps on the Home screen.

In terms of system improvements, the update improves overall system stability and integrates the June 2024 Android security patch to boost system security.

The communication aspects of the device have also been improved. The stability of network connections has been enhanced, providing a better user experience when using the device for communication purposes.
