In the launch event of the Google Pixel 8 series, Google has also announced Google’s Magnifier app. As of now, this app is only available for Google Pixel Devices. Users who own Google Pixel can download the Magnifier app from the Google Play Store. Google has confirmed that the Magnifier app will be compatible with Google Pixel 5 and above.
Use case of Google Magnifer
If we talk about the use case of Google magnifier, then let’s assume you have visited a restaurant. There, you have to check the Restaurant Menu. But it is far from you. Then, you can use Google Magnifier to zoom on the menu to see it and then you can order what you want.
Google Magnifier only supports zoom in fixed additions (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 24x, 30x) instead of being able to completely control the zoom level. The image can’t be saved in the Phone’s Gallery by default until you click a zoomed-in image with your Phone’s Camera App. You can also manually save and share the saved image.
