Unveiling Google Chrome’s Desktop Update: The Search Side Panel

Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google. Now, with the new update of Google Chrome, Google has added the ‘Search’ side panel in Google Chrome Desktop.

As we know, in the Desktop version of Google Chrome we have already a side panel with different tabs such as Journeys, Bookmarks, Reading List, etc. But if we talk about the latest version of Google Chrome Desktop i.e. 116. Also, with the upcoming version of Android i.e. Android 14. Google is going to introduce a native system sheet.

Do remember, the result list will still remain visible. Also, whenever you open a new tab, the side panel will be reset to Reading List. You can also pin stuff which is next to the close button. With this new Google G shortcut, you can simply see your Reading List, Bookmarks, and Journeys. You can also do Google search from here.

Note: We get this feature in Google Chrome Desktop Version 116 stable.
