While the exact name of the phone remains under wraps, Realme’s collaboration with Qualcomm is geared towards introducing “groundbreaking image technologies.” The big reveal is scheduled for January 10, 2024, in Las Vegas, USA.
The anticipation is high, especially since Realme has been hinting at this new technology in its recent social media posts. These posts, with the hashtag #PeriscopeOver200MP, suggest that the periscope camera tech will play a significant role in the phone’s capabilities.
Speculation is rife that this much-awaited smartphone with the periscope camera will be the Realme 12 Pro+. This assumption gains strength from the fact that the Realme 12 Pro+ was recently spotted on TENAA, a Chinese certification site. Along with its specs, images of the Realme 12 Pro+ and the Realme 12 Pro were also revealed, piquing the interest of tech enthusiasts.
Realme’s latest smartphones, the RMX3841 and RMX3843, have recently been certified by TENAA, and now their full specifications are out, confirming they are the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.
Externally, both models sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080p resolution. They feature a triple-camera setup on the back and a single front-facing camera. The main distinction between the two lies in their chipsets and camera specifications.
