OnePlus company has dropped new update, “OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 based on Android 14” for OnePlus Pad which brings new features and improvements. It’s a beta version, so you might face some bugs.
This update currently available only for Indian OnePlus Pad users. For other region you might have for a little while.
What’s new in OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 for OnePlus Pad
- Enhanced Google Photos cloud service.
- Better app permissions for photos and videos ensuring safer use.
- Faster apps, stable system, and smoother animations.
- Fresh Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and sharper system notification sounds.
Known Issues
- The screen might flash when changing from landscape to portrait view.
How to get the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta on OnePlus Pad?
- Your device should run OxygenOS 13.1.
- Ensure your OnePlus Pad battery is above 30% and has 4 GB storage free.
- TMO/Verizon devices can’t use this beta.
Ready to join the beta program?
- Update to version OPD2203_13.1.0.603(EX01).
- Go to Settings > About Device > Beta program and follow the steps.
- Applications are open from October 10. Only 5,000 users can join.
If you want to rollback to the previous version Android 13. The company allows you to do that but it wipes your date. So its recommended you should take full backup your device.
