CMF Phone 1 Price Leaked Before July 8 Launch

The highly-anticipated CMF Phone 1 from Nothing’s sub-brand CMF by Nothing is finally going to be launched tomorrow, July 8. In the past week, the company unveiled a few of the phone’s specifications one by one. Now the final price has been leaked, thanks to an Ad on Flipkart.

A YouTube mini banner ad run by Flipkart revealed that the price of the CMF Phone 1 is Rs 17,999 in India. However, with discounts, it could drop to Rs 14,999. The discount will likely include an exchange bonus and another offer by way of bank or card discount.

This pricing policy somewhat resembles what Nothing used for the Nothing Phone 2, which came with a launch sale price of Rs. 19,999. The ad also mentioned that the first sale of the CMF Phone 1 will be at 12:00 PM on 12 July.

The CMF Phone 1 is said to be equipped with a Dimensity 7300 processor, 5000mAh battery, and dual rear cameras – 50MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor.

Perhaps the customizable rear panel is the most outstanding feature of the phone. According to leaks, users could simply pop out the back panel and replace it with the new ones available in Black, Blue, Light Green, and orange. The rear panel also features a dial-like design so as to attach accessories like lanyards.

Additionally, it will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2000 nits peak brightness.

At a price as leaked, the CMF Phone 1 appears competitive and is likely to undercut most of its competitors. Additional back covers or attachments to be sold separately may offset the lower initial cost of this phone, but the bottom line is that the CMF Phone 1 will still provide considerable value for money, even to any buyer not including extra accessories in his consideration.
