OnePlus has begun releasing the OxygenOS 13 F.48 update for the OnePlus Nord 2 in India. It becomes the second device to receive the October 2023 security patch. Since yesterday, OnePlus Nord 3 has also been getting the latest security patch for October.
You can identify the firmware version DN2101_11.F.48 when you install the update on your Nord 2. There is no update size information available yet, as nobody has posted any screenshots on the community platform about it.

The OxygenOS 13 F.48 update only brings an October 2023 Android security patch to the device which makes sure the device security is made stronger than before along with protection from threats and risks. The company also makes some changes in the back end that are not mentioned in the changelog basically, the device performance will be improved from previous update.

How to update:
To update your OnePlus Nord 2 to OxygenOS 13 F.48, go to Settings > About Phone > Tap on OxygenOS version. If the OTA is available then simply tap on Download and install.
