The OnePlus 12 will officially launch on December 5 in China. OnePlus has shared some of the camera details about the new device that is going to launch.
The President of the Chinese division of OnePlus, Li Jie Louis has revealed that OnePlus 12 will come with a 50 MP main camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor. He has revealed a teaser that shows all three Hasselblad-branded cameras, an ultra-wide shooter with 48 MP sensor and periscope lens with 3x telephoto zoom and a 64 MP imager. To enhance the camera setup ability there is a 13-channel multispectral sensor.
The OnePlus 12 looks familiar, as we can see these features on the OnePlus Open and the Oppo Find N3. The only difference is in the architecture and internal designs.
According to the chip manufacturer, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will come with better image and signal processing. Features like semantic segmentation will help improve the image’s vibrancy and details in real life. This processor will also provide features like AI generation and an object eraser for videos. Now it is all up to OnePlus if they want to implement these features on their upcoming smartphones or not.
