Nothing company has just released the Nothing OS 2.0.5 update for Nothing Phone (1) users. The update brings several improvements and enhances the system security of the device.
The update can be identified by its software version Nothing OS 2.0.5 for Phone (1) and its size of 66.76 MB.

The Nothing OS 2.0.5 update improves the synchronization between the phone and headphone volume for a more consistent audio experience. You will see a more optimized VoWifi icon, which is displayed in the status bar.
The update includes the November 2023 Android security patch to the device for better protection and to fight the latest threats and risks. Previously, Phone (1) had a September 2023 security patch. With this update, you will get the current-month security patch.
Along with these improvements, several issues affecting system stability have been addressed by the company, and now you will see a smoother user experience than before.

This update has already started rolling out to the Nothing Phone (1) users you must have received it on your device. Just go to Settings > System > System Update and tap Check for update. If it shows a system update available, then simply tap on Download and install.
Furthermore, the company also rolled out the Nothing OS 2.5 Closed beta update for selected Phone (1) users, and the update is based on Android 14 so they will get an early glimpse of the next major update.
