Recently, according to a report we came to know that Meta is going to discontinue the SMS Facility on Facebook Messenger, and now, according to a report by 9TO5GOOGLE, Meta is going to discontinue the support for Messenger Lite for Android by 18 September 2023.
Messenger Lite is a Lite version of Messenger which was announced in October 2016. This version is for low-end Android devices that won’t be able to run Messanger. So, now the users who are using Messenger Lite, now have to shift to Full Messenger.
