Xiaomi Announces First and Second Batches for HyperOS 1.0 Rollout

Xiaomi is preparing to launch its latest operating system called “HyperOS,” which will be released first in China and later globally. According to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, the global release of HyperOS 1.0 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024. Xiaomi recently updated the list of first and second batch devices that will receive the HyperOS 1.0 update.

It’s almost certain these Xiaomi devices will get the HyperOS 1.0 update soon. Most new flagship devices are in the final stages of testing HyperOS 1.0. Currently, the stable version of HyperOS 1.0 is only available on the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, while other flagship devices are testing the beta version.

HyperOS Update Rollout Plan for Xiaomi Devices

Here’s the list of Xiaomi devices scheduled to receive the HyperOS update in the first and second batches:

First batch (already rolled out):

  • November 2: Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi 14
  • November 14: Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Redmi K60 Pro, Redmi K60
  • November 21: Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2

Second batch (December 2023):

  • Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12, Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, Redmi K50 E-Sports Edition

Future batches (dates to be announced):

  • Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4

It’s important to note that these updates are for China only. The schedule for the global rollout is not yet available.

HyperOS 1.0 will feature several enhancements, including a new control center, lock screen customizations, a fresh font, a redesigned app layout, and Android 14 privacy and security features. A new permission manager is also expected in the HyperOS 1.0 update.
