Vivo S50 Series: Launch Set for December 15

Vivo S50, Vivo S50 Pro Mini are officially confirmed to launch in China on December 15, marking Vivo’s next major release in the premium mid-range segment. The company has already opened pre-reservations on its official online store, generating strong interest ahead of the event. Both smartphones arrive with refreshed colour options, upgraded performance, and promising camera hardware, making them one of the most talked-about upcoming launches.

Colour Options and Design Highlights

The Vivo S50 Pro Mini will debut in Confession, Inspiration Purple and Space Gray shades, while the standard Vivo S50 will be offered in Confession, Inspiration Purple, Serene Blue and Space Gray finishes. The series features a sleek design approach, with the Pro Mini adopting a compact 6.31-inch flat display that aims at delivering a balanced flagship-like experience.

Performance and Specifications

The Vivo S50 Pro Mini is confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and reportedly scores over 3 million on the AnTuTu benchmark. It will support LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage and is expected to come in up to 16GB + 512GB variants. The device also packs a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the Vivo S50 will feature multiple RAM and storage configurations and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 1/1.95-inch periscope telephoto camera. Both phones are expected to ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, offering a refined software experience.
